I think all it would mean it us sacrificing a night in Cuzco for a night in Aguas Calientes. I think. Let's say it'd be the same price. Then we'd be able to get up early, and be at MP at sunrise and hours before the big crowds get there.
If we stayed in MP, we wouldn't get there until noon or so, based on what I've read.

ReplyDeleteIt's pretty much the primary reason tourists go there. The most a sunrise at Machu Picchu could elicit from me is an eye roll. Yup.
